In burlesque were refer to a performer’s musicality by their ability to listen to music and use their body to express what they hear and feel. By exploring tempo in music we can unlock and hone movement and connection. This can add more depth to your choreography and create more of an organic style to your movement.

The Blacksparrow will walk you through tempo, mood, and rhythm, how they are different, and how to utilize them while creating choreography and building your act.
